My log doesn't judge.

One of the more worrisome things about dressing up for Halloween is having to explain what you are to people. Bravely, The Doberman and I decided to face this head on and go to a party in Echo Park dressed as Audrey Horne and Special Agent Dale Cooper from Twin Peaks.

We took the long trek from the West side of LA to Echo Park where we met up with all sorts of interesting characters, including, but not limited to...
Nicholas Cage from Raising Arizona and either James Dean or Marlon Brando, he didn't know.
Cassandra as a sexy skeleton (but not in the "sexy" way, just...she was), and an accidental Trotsky who is herefore referred to as Spencer.
My gooooorgeous friend Jessica Verdi as the most amazing mermaid I have EVER seen, and her friend as some sort of cat.
See that girl on second to the right? Well, this is where I begin to tell you that she basically made my year. Why? Because she and her boyfriend, who we did not meet before that night, went as the Blue Rose lady and Gordon Cole from Twin Peaks! What a surprise!!

Of course we became friends with Kelsey and Jacob, they were too cool to be true.

But then things got a little crazy. Four Twin Peaks characters? Two groups who don't even know each other? It can't get weirder, right? Wrong. Suddenly, as if from Heaven, comes a girl dressed as The Log Lady.

Too good to be true, indeed.

 Happy Halloween, everyone!

Love,
Cheekbone
